Douglas County commissioners will be in Genoa 6 p.m. today to discuss and possibly approve the Douglas County economic vitality plan. Commissioners have set aside two hours at Genoa Lakes banquet pavilion.

A Dayton woman who was sentenced to prison for drunk driving is scheduled to appear in Douglas County District Court this morning to set up a payment schedule. Katie Anne Kelley, 37, was sentenced to a minimum year in prison in May 2009 after being arrested on multiple counts of driving under the influence. She owes $2,000 in fines in Douglas County.

There's a slight chance of thunderstorms after 1 p.m. today. Skies will be partly cloudy with the high approaching 81 degrees.
