A memorial service is 2 p.m. Sept. 24 in San Francisco for Carson Valley native Margaret Tregaskis, who died Aug. 23, 2010, at Sonoma Acres Hospital in Sonoma, Calif.
Born Oct. 30, 1926, on a Carson Valley ranch to Louis and Alsye Faletti, she graduated from Douglas County High School in 1944, where she received awards from Minden Fortnightly and the Gardnerville Literary Club.
She had a successful career in the tax preparation and accounting field, establishing her own practice from which she retired in 2005. She enjoyed life and loved to play bridge.
She is survived by sons Louis Coles and Daniel Coles; three grandchildren Mia Coles, Becky Coles, Max Coles; a great-grandchild Dylan and numerous friends.
The service is at the San Francisco Columbarium, located at 1 Loraine Court. Donations may be made to Meals on Wheels of Sonoma, 275 E. Spain St., Sonoma, CA 95476.
