Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 36-year-old computer programmer for the State Department of Education was arrested at 10:20 a.m. Monday in the 700 block of Silver Oak Drive on a warrant for suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Because he works in a stressful environment, he allegedly fractured two of his father-in-law's ribs on Jan. 23, the report states. Bail was set at $3,000.

• Thomas Alan Dias, 42, an unemployed transient, was arrested at 11:27 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony possession of prescription medication without a prescription, misdemeanor petty larceny and possession of marijuana. Bail was set at $2,500.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Copper tubing was reported stolen from the back of the vacant Sak 'N Save on Highway 50 East.

• Accident at Fifth Street and Parkland Avenue at 2:03 p.m.

• Accident in the 4300 block of North Carson Street at 4:23 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Report of people dumping trash at the end of Highlands Drive in Mound House at 8:07 a.m.

• Report of gas siphoned from a vehicle in the 300 block of Dayton Valley Road sometime before 9:53 a.m.

• Report of a shed burglarized on Black Rock Circle in Mound House sometime before 1:13 p.m.

• Two felony arrests on Highway 208 in Mason Valley at 5:06 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Report at 12:29 p.m. of a 15-year-old girl at Virginia City High School falling and hitting her head.
