As Team USA competed for medals at the Tokyo Olympics, some residents at Carson Valley Senior Living have teamed up to compete in their own Olympics.

So far, Team Ireland is in the lead, but it's been a fierce competition between all of the competitors, according to staff members.

Games include a donut eating contest, a goldfish throwing contest, a watermelon eating contest, a ring toss and darts.

The community is holding Olympic-inspired games throughout the week in celebration of Team USA competing in the Tokyo Olympics. Organizers are asking residents to visit the Carson Valley Senior Living Facebook page to follow along and cheer on their favorite team.
