The school year has been very different this year but the Business Management third year students are doing their best with the adjustments.

The class is split into two cohorts that meet on different days, making it difficult to work together.

In prior years, local business leaders and owners came into the classroom to help with certain projects. That’s now being done virtually. The class partnered with MEFIYI to put on a virtual college/career workshop which included several local business owners. Just a few skills gained experience in include: communicating, advertising, and time management.

The class also partnered with Kyle Barnes Web Design to help put together a digital marketing campaign for Jessika Paige Skin Care. Students learned the impacts of advertising with a local business by making Jessika a video commercial with a jingle that showcases her facials and skin care products.

Even though this year has been very different, students are excited to use their new skills in the real business world.
