“We had a huge turnout for the Minden Branch art opening,” Library Director Tim DeGhelder said. “We shared future plans about the library goals for the next five years.”

The art will be on display through the first week of December and library patrons may vote on their top five entries.

Residents who want to vote on their favorites digitally can visit the library’s Facebook page at DouglasLibraryNV to like their favorites.

“It was nice to see a fun creative event offered to the public,” DeGhelder said. “The library will probably make this an annual event.”

The library has information about its new strategic plan which can be found at library.douglascountynv.gov.
