Carson Valley Sertoma awarded $21,000 in book and vocational scholarships to seven students in Douglas County.
“Each year we raise money through donations and fund raisers to help support, not only our scholarships, but also donations to other non-profit groups that help our Douglas County citizens,” spokeswoman Birgit Okimoto said.
