Man sought for questioning in shoplifting

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance locating a man suspected of shoplifting items from the Topsy Walmart.

The shoplifter was spotted on video 4:27 p.m. Sept. 26 entering the garden center with a shopping cart full of items.

The man placed some of the items outside the fence of the garden center area and later returned to the outside parking lot to retrieve the items. The man’s identity is unknown at this time, and all investigative leads have been exhausted.
