2000-2001 seasons for goose hunting

Oct. 21 was the opening day of the goose hunting season in the northern portion of the state of Nevada.


- GOOSE (Canada and White-Fronted): Now open in all counties except Clark and Lincoln. This season will close on Jan. 20.


Daily limit of 3 with a possession limit of 6.


Non-toxic shot is required in shotgun shells. Shotguns must be plugged to limit overall shotshell capacity to only three shells.


- Special Note: The Clark and Lincoln Counties season runs Nov. 18 through Jan. 20 with a daily limit of 2 and a possession limit of 4.


- GOOSE (Snow and Ross'): Now open in all counties except Clark and Lincoln. This season will close on Jan. 20.
