The Carson City Republican Women's Club will meet Tuesday at the Carson Nugget. This meeting will feature a presentation on inaugural gowns worn by America's first ladies. Moderated by Betty Bensinger, the program will include the history and pictures of the dresses worn by each of our president's wives up to and including Edith Roosevelt, wife of Theodore Roosevelt.
The social hour begins at 11 a.m., followed by a buffet lunch at 11:30 a.m. Lunch is $12 per person.
The public is encouraged to attend, but reservations must be made prior to the meeting by calling 246-0185.
