Carson Country to be represented at UNR athletic season

Carson Country has been and will be well represented at the University of Nevada during the 2000-2001 athletic season.

The Wolf Pack features 15 student-athletes from the Carson Country area, including three of its top athletes, senior cross country and track standout Jody Carlsen, nationally-ranked golfer Lynda Upton and star baseball pitcher Darrell Rasner, who are all from Carson City.

Other local athletes at Nevada are: Chad Stoloff, Carson City, tennis; Lyndi Oxoby and Brandy Reichardt, both from Carson City, swimming; Kathryn Hernandez, Carson City, and Stephanie Webb, Minden, soccer; Markus Zinke, Gardnerville, and Kristina Yeskie, Carson City, golf; Jason Price, Carson City, baseball; April Addeo, Gardnerville, volleyball; and Ray Sanchez, Carson City, Garrett Anderson, Minden; and Joe Andrews, Gardnerville, football.
