The Nov. 21 meeting of the Carson City Republican Women's Club will feature a presentation on inaugural gowns worn by America's first ladies.
Moderated by Betty Bensinger, the program will include the history and pictures of the dresses worn by each of president's wife up to and including Edith Roosevelt, wife of Theodore Roosevelt.
The public is encouraged to attend, but reservations must be made prior to the meeting by calling 246-0185.
The Carson City Republican Women meet the third Tuesday of each month at the Carson Nugget. A social hour begins at 11 a.m., followed by a buffet lunch at 11:30 a.m. Lunch is $12 per person.
