Carson City's Lyndi Oxoby and Brandy Reichardt had solid performances for the Nevada women's swim team in the Wolf Pack's 115-145 loss to Fresno State at Fresno in a dual meet.
Oxoby placed second in the 200 backstroke with a time of two minutes, 5.71 seconds and finished sixth in the 1,000 freestyle in 11:25.23. Reichardt placed fifth in the 100 back in 1:01.80. Reichardt also swam on Nevada's 200 medley relay team that placed third in 1:51.22.
Nevada had three double winners and another first-place finisher in the meet.
Junior Kate Oiness won both diving events, senior Ping Luo and freshman Leticia Cunha each won two swimming events, Luo winning the 1,000 freestyle and 200 butterfly and Cunha the 200 and 500 freestyle, while junior Rachel Gregorn (100 breaststroke) and freshman Chelsea Wilde (200 individual medley) each added a first in leading the Wolf Pack in their first Western Athletic Conference dual meet.
Nevada travels to Oregon State for dual met in Corvallis, Ore. Saturday.
