The Carson volleyball team put it all together in a 15-12, 15-10, 15-11 win over Reno Tuesday.
Carson improved to 11-2 to remain in first place in league play. "We played as well as we've played the last few weeks," Carson Coach Daryl James said.
"We played pretty intense. We played pretty hard. Reno's a pretty good ball club."
Kaitlin Leck had an outstanding match with 22 kills, two aces and two blocks.
"Kaitlin did some things I'm not sure anyone else in the league could do," James said.
Setter Ryanne Amodei also had a strong match with 42 assists and two aces. Rachael DeRiemer had a strong offensive match with 11 kills, Jennifer Saunders had four kills and three blocks, Sjammpm Devereaux had five kills and three blocks and Megan Anderson added seven kills and three blocks.
James said the passing of Heidi Alexander and Chrissy Joseph continued to be a key to his team's attack. Alexander had three digs and Joseph added two digs.
