Carson's Fischer named North Dakota's Swimmer of the Week

Carson City's Rebecca Fischer was recently named the North Central Conference Swimmer of the Week for the University of North Dakota.

Fischer, a junior, finished second in the 200 individual medley in two mintues, 24.41 seconds and second in the 200 breaststroke in 2:10.38 during a dual meet with Minnesota. Both times were automatic qualifying performances for the NCAA Division II Championships.
