The 2000 fishing season for Catnip Reservoir is set to open on Friday and remain open through Nov. 15.
Catnip Reservoir is located within the Charles Sheldon Antelope Range in Northeastern Washoe County.
It contains Lahontan cutthroat trout.
Fishing is permitted any hour of the day or night during the special season.
The limit is zero trout (catch and release only).
Only artificial flies and lures with single barbless hooks may be use.
