About 100 runners and walkers are expected to be on hand this morning for the fifth running of the Dirty, Dusty, Damn Hot Relay at El Charro Avitia Restaurant.
The event, set to start at 10 a.m., will be staged on a loop around El Charro, located at 4389 South Carson Street. The relay involves three members each running a 5 kilometer leg, a total of 15 kilometers per team. An ironman division is also available for participants who want to run 15K, in addition to a 5K walk.
The event is held as a benefit for the Carson Advocates for Cancer Cure.
