Election fiasco like Russian basketball

This presidential election is becoming absolutely ludicrous!

It reminds me of an Olympic basketball game some years back between the U.S. and Russia. There were a few seconds left in a tight game and Russia had the ball. The officials kept replaying those final seconds until Russia finally scored and won the game. These guys (the Democrats) are trying to replay the election until they come up with results in their favor. The law seems to mean nothing to them. I'm sure our founding fathers are rolling around in their graves over this thing!

We have had a count and, by Florida law, we have had a recount. Now we can add all of the absentee ballots and we should declare a victor! This malarky about hand counts because some people in Palm Beach are idiots and can't follow a distinctive arrow, are ridiculous. If they're

that stupid they shouldn't be voting anyway, in my opinion. I don't want a bunch of idiots deciding who is going to be my president! If they double punched their ballot, it is void! If they didn't punch a hole for a presidential candidate, they didn't vote for that office. If they circled a candidate's name, they didn't follow simple directions and their ballot should not be counted - period!

Personally, I think this punch card ballot is archaic! In this day and age we should all be on an automated system. If this manual recount is allowed in Palm Beach because those idiots can't follow simple directions, in the next election I'd like to manually circle all my selections and demand it be counted. If not, I would follow the democratic way and get a lawyer!

People have chastised Richard Nixon for years now (for Watergate) yet he was in a similar situation himself. Rather than put the country through all this expensive BS, he accepted the results. If he would have acted like the current Democrats, he may very well have been president instead of JFK. Instead, he did the "honorable" thing and accepted the election as it was. Al Gore should take a lesson from him!
