Hope Valley access to be dedicated

You are invited to join the Alpine County Chamber of Commerce, the California Dept. of Fish and Game and the Wildlife Conservation Board for a special dedication ceremony on Friday.

It will be held just off Calif. S.R. 88 in Hope Valley, about 1/4 mile west of Pickett's Junction. That is the junction of Calif. S.R. 88 (to Kit Carson Pass) and 89 (to Luther Pass) at the north edge of Hope Valley.

The ceremony will dedicate the newly-constructed Hope Valley Wildlife Area Barrier Free Fishing Access on the West Carson River. That access was built to accommodate handicapped individuals.
