Infant girl abducted from home in Florida

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - A 10-day-old infant was abducted from her home early Saturday after a struggle between her kidnappers and her screaming mother.

The mother, identified as Angela Brown, was home with her five children when two women knocked on the door about 1:30 a.m., the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.

When a boy opened the door, the women squirted pepper spray in his face, authorities said. One of the women then picked up the baby, Latisha Renae Dunn, from her crib.

When the mother tried to fight off the other abductor, she was squirted with pepper spray.

Neighbors told police that a struggle occurred between the kidnappers and the mother. They said the mother ran outside and began screaming, ''I want my baby, I want my baby!''

The sheriff's office released a picture of the baby and a woman, identified only as Michelle Bradley, whom investigators want to question. It was not immediately known whether the baby's mother knew the abductors.

Police were looking for a maroon or gray Chevrolet Lumina believed to have been used in the abduction.
