Letter: Carson Plaza has Halloween spirit

Here where I live at the Carson Plaza Retirement Center, we enjoyed a lovely friendly cheerful Halloween dinner Tuesday, Oct. 31. Jack Depew played the piano and residents sang to many of the familiar tunes.

Our dinner was superb and the employees had dressed in various costumes for the day. Also, we had a contest for residents who wore various costumes.

Special notice was Lucille Eroh, dressed in an authentic Indian outfit - very beautiful. There were several more - cowgirl, witches, Robin Hood and I was dressed as the Kat with a Hat. It was also the monthly recognition of residents' birthdays and we all joined in singing Happy Birthday.

In the evening, the Plaza had open house for young trick or treaters and a beautiful day came to an end. I am sure we older residents had good feelings as we enjoyed this happy event.

Thank you again for giving my letter a place in your Appeal.
