Letter: Kids do care about air-conditioned school

Dear Mrs. Moffett: I read your quotes in the newspaper, and I think you are totally wrong about kids not caring about air conditioning. I am a kid, and it is so hot you lose all your energy. I can't believe anybody can say kids don't care without their opinion.

Some people think they can do stuff without asking kids, but we are human beings too. Just because we are smaller human beings just doesn't mean you can do stuff without our opinion.

When my friends told me about what you said about cracked pavement, "that we don't mind," Oh please! I don't remember how many times I have fallen since kindergarten. The school nurse knew me by name!

I invite you to come to my school. It is Bordewich Bray on 110 Thompson St. I'm on the second floor, Room 14.
