Letter: WNCC class is one for the memories

I was delighted to see Thursday's front-page article about the memoirs writing class offered at Western Nevada Community College.

As a genealogy buff, I took the class last semester and was amazed how putting my memoirs on paper added to my family tree. Instructors Marilee Swirczek and Ursula Carlson's unique teaching methods constantly kept us students motivated. I would encourage everyone interested in family history to sign up right away for the fall semester.
