LOS ANGELES - An actor shot and killed by police at a Halloween party while carrying a fake gun appeared on the television show ''ER'' in an episode taped before his death.
Anthony Dwain Lee was shot to death Oct. 28 by Officer Tarriel Hopper. Lee portrayed a drug-addicted homeless patient on the top-rated NBC drama Thursday night.
The episode, with a guest appearance by Sally Field, was dedicated to Lee.
The 39-year-old actor's death at a mansion in the exclusive Benedict Canyon area of the Hollywood Hills remains under investigation.
Hopper, who was called to the house on a noise complaint, shot Lee several times after the actor allegedly pointed a realistic-looking toy gun at the officer.
Before filming the ''ER'' episode, Lee had appeared in small TV and film roles such as ''NYPD Blue'' and in the 1997 Jim Carrey movie ''Liar Liar.''
