Motorists can expect delays of up to 30 minutes on Highway 395 southbound between the junction with Highway 50 West and Mica Drive from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. today and Tuesday, according to the Nevada Department of Transportation.
Frehner Construction Co. will be paving a short section of the southbound lanes near Jacks Valley Road. The paving is part of a $10.3 million project to repave a 10-mile section of Highway 395 between the Lake Tahoe turn off and Minden.
The final layer of paving will be applied next spring.
