Aileen B. Lyons, 81, a Dayton resident for the past five years, died Sept. 14, 2000 at her home. She was born April 7, 1919, in Throop, Pa. to Anthony and Sabina Andrelchik.
Before moving to Dayton, she lived in Carson City from 1981, coming from Brooklyn, N.Y.
Mrs. Lyons was a public relations representative at the New York Stock Exchange. Upon retirement, she enjoyed Carson City's casinos, library and neighborhood yard sales. She was a friend to animals, an avid reader and an accomplished solver of the London Times' cryptic puzzle.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Josephine Jensen of Greeley, Pa.
Among her survivors are her daughter and son-in-law Barbara and Art Herman of Dayton; brothers Anthony Andrelchik of Throop and Stanley Andrelchik of Elmont, NY; sisters Sister Mary Bernice (Andrelchik) of St. Mary's Villa of Ambler, Pa. and Sophie Pohutsky of Houston, Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.
At her request no service will be held.
Cremation was at FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory.
