Obituary: Bernice Ann McKay

Bernice Ann McKay, 68, a Carson City resident since 1971, died Oct. 15, 2000, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. No services are scheduled at this time.

Mrs. McKay was born Oct. 4, 1932, in Great Falls, Mont., to Stanley H. Jenkins and Tecla Matteucci.

Prior to living in Carson City she resided in Modesto, Calif.

Mrs. McKay worked as a key punch operator for the state of Nevada.

She enjoyed crocheting and camping.

Mrs. McKay was of the Lutheran faith.

Among her survivors are her husband, Budd, of Carson City; stepdaughters Marsha Cordoza of Manteca, Calif. and Betty McKay of Carson City; brother Stanley Jenkins of White Sulpher Springs, Mont., four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Cremation is under the direction of Walton's Sierra Crematory in Carson City.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
