A funeral for Catherine "Kit" Smith, 73, a Carson City resident since 1996, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City.
Visitation is from 2-4 p.m. Wednesday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mrs. Smith died Oct. 29, 2000, at her home. She was born Nov. 17, 1926, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Dr. Walter Moehle and Violet Auller.
Prior to living in Carson City she resided in Paradise, Calif.
Mrs. Smith was an administrative assistant.
She volunteered for the Railroad Museum in Carson City. She enjoyed gardening, cross stitching and traveling. She loved being a homemaker.
Among her survivors are her husband George B. "Bev" Smith of Carson City; brother Walter Moehle Jr. and his wife Patricia of Paradise.
Burial will be at Walton's Carson Gardens in Carson City.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
