A memorial service for Christopher Lee Sharp, 28, a Carson City resident for the past six years and former Fallon resident, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Fallon Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints church.
A memorial Mass will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church in Carson City with a reception at his home, 5757 Ethel Way.
Mr. Sharp died Nov. 10, 2000, in an automobile accident near Cold Springs. He was born Oct. 27, 1972, in Hawthorne.
He graduated from Churchill County High School in 1991 and Western Nevada Community College with an associate of arts degree in 1996.
He married Kasia Bugajski Aug. 2, 1997, at St. Teresa.
Mr. Sharp was a self-employed home builder and he worked at Raley's in Fallon as a clerk and Raley's in Carson City as a head clerk. He was an avid hunter, having shot several deer, antelope, bear and an elk in Colorado. He had bowled on several leagues in both Fallon and Carson City, bowling a 298 and a 300 game. He was an outdoorsman who mastered many sports, including golf, fishing, hiking and skiing. He enjoyed traveling and had been to several European countries and Hawaii and Canada. He was a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Robert Bugajski of Carson City.
Among his survivors are his wife Kasia and daughter Krisha, both of Carson City; parents Eddie and Debbie Sharp, brother Randy, sisters Lori Stevenson and Bettie Wright, grandparents Bernard and Peggy Sharp and Betty Koeckes, all of Fallon; great-grandparents Gladys Roush of Fallon and Phyllis Sharp of Hawthorn; father- and mother-in-law Andrzej and Teresa Bugajski of Carson City and uncles, aunts and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
