A celebration of life for Gary John Limb, 37, a Gardnerville resident for 32 years, will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Carson Valley United Methodist Church with Pastor Pete Nelson officiating. A reception will be held at Sharkey's Nugget in Gardnerville following the service.
Mr. Limb died Sept. 3, 2000 at Washoe Medical Center. He was born Sept. 15, 1962, in San Jose, Calif., to John Limb and Jean Molignoni.
Before moving to Gardnerville, he lived in San Jose.
He graduated from Douglas High School in 1980.
He married Dayla C. Keebaugh Sept. 11, 1993, in Minden.
Mr. Limb was the owner of G.J.L. Construction, Inc., of Gardnerville. He loved the Minnesota Vikings, golf, wakeboarding, camping and playing with his dogs Newton and Logan. He also loved cooking and barbecuing for family and friends and talking with friends at the French Bar.
Among his survivors are his wife Dayla and parents, all of Gardnerville; brother Joe of Carson City; sisters Colleen Goulart and Stacey Holst, both of Gardnerville; three nieces and two nephews.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
Memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund in his name, Account No. 153750495555, U.S. Bank, 1337 Hwy. 395, Gardnerville 89410.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home, Gardnerville, is in charge of arrangements.
