A funeral for Geraldine Ann Hanks, 65, a Fort Scott, Kan. resident, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Cheney Witt Memorial Chapel in Fort Scott.
The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. Sunday at Cheney Witt and burial will be in the U.S. National Cemetery.
Mrs. Hanks died Aug. 9, 2000 at Freeman West Hospital in Joplin, Mo. She was born Jan. 27, 1935, in Oakland, Calif., to Sylvester James and Ella Mabel Baker Murrell.
She married Clinton Ray Mosely in 1953, and they divorced. She married Walter A. Hanks June 9, 1958 in Reno. They spent most of their lives in the Reno area.
Mrs. Hanks was a retired LPN. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She served in the U.S. Air Force.
Among her survivors are her husband Walter; sons Raymond Louis Mosley of New York, N.Y. and Walter Adam Hanks of Springville, Utah; daughters Kathleen Adell Walker of Silver Springs and Judy Ann Beal of Fort Scott; aunt Leona Kirby of Reno; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
