A Mass of Christian burial for Gloria Amelia Baldecchi Pellegrini, 75, a Minden resident for the past 11 years, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville.
A Rosary will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Gall.
Mrs. Pellegrini died Oct. 6, 2000, at Carson Healthcare Center. She was born June 9, 1925, in East Paterson, N.J., to Ugo and Anna Francisconi Baldecchi.
She received both a bachelors and masters degree in education from UCLA.
Before moving to Minden, she lived in Brentwood, Calif. from 1939-89 and in East Paterson, N.J. from 1925-39.
Mrs. Pellegrini was a Los Angeles elementary school teacher for 33 years, retiring in1980. She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma. She was also a member of St. Gall Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Henry on March 13, 1999.
Among her survivors are her nephews Dr. Bruce Baldecchi of Carson City and Joseph Baldecchi of Incline Village; niece Theresa Horgan of Carson City; two great nephews; one great niece and numerous cousins.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
Inurnment will be in Readsboro, Vt. at a later date.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
