A funeral for Grace Mabel Straub, 96, a Grass Valley, Calif., resident for many years and a Silver Springs resident for the past five months, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grass Valley.
Mrs. Straub died Nov. 2, 2000, in Silver Springs. She was born Oct. 25, 1904, in Kelton, Utah, to Thomas T. and Jessie Isabel Lynch Riggs.
Mrs. Straub was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Sr. and sons Ted Wentz, Albert Jr., Bill and Richard.
Among survivors are her sons Bob of Grass Valley, Jack of Weaverville, Calif., Jim of Redding, Calif., and David of Silver Springs; sister Salley Swafford of Auburn, Calif.; 28 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery in Grass Valley.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
