A funeral for Helen B. Dietrich, 84, a Carson City resident for the past 57 years, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Mrs. Dietrich died Sept. 25, 2000 at Washoe Medical Center. She was born Feb. 22, 1916, in Kiowa, Colo., to Arthur Leonard and Bertha Allison Peterson.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Colorado.
Mrs. Dietrich ran the Novaki Store for many years. She was also a cafeteria cook at the Stewart Indian School. She was the Western Regional Past President of Eagles and a member of the National Association of Federal Employees. She was a Protestant.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Robert Earl Dietrich.
Among her survivors are sons Dwaine of Carson City and Donald of Walker Lake, Calif.; daughter Marlene June Bacon of Walker Lake; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery with Pastor Fred Muster officiating.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery, is in charge of arrangements.
