Helen S. Holland, 97, a Carson City resident for the past 22 years, died Nov. 25, 2000 at Carson Healthcare. She was born Nov. 22, 1903, in Iowa, to Schuyler and Gertie Sechrist Sheets.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Alturas, Calif.
Mrs. Holland was a homemaker. She was a past matron of the Eastern Star in Alturas. She was an Episcopalian.
She was preceded in death by her husband Fred C. Holland in 1978 and brother Don Keith Sheets in 1938.
Among her survivors are her sons Keith of Carson City and Lee of Arnold, Calif.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
