A funeral for Kenneth Meadows, 71, a Gardnerville resident for the past 12 years will be at 1 p.m. today at FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. today at FitzHenry's.
Mr. Meadows died Oct. 21, 2000 at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born June 22, 1929, in Kalamazoo, Mich., to Ralph and Cleo Munshower Meadows.
Before moving to Gardnerville, he lived in San Jose, Calif.
Mr. Meadows was an engineer for Lockheed. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Among his survivors are his wife Beverly of Gardnerville; mother Cleo of Campbell, Calif.; sons Larry of Idaville, Ind., and Steven of Sunnyvale, Calif.; daughter Debra Genzel of Roseville, Calif.; brother Donald of Campbell; sisters Dorothy Schisler of Middletown, Calif., Beverly Speziale of San Jose, Calif., and Joan Isbell of Gilroy, Calif., and three grandchildren.
Burial will be at Eastside Memorial Park in Minden.
FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home, Gardnerville, is in charge of arrangements.
