A funeral for Llynne Launa Peterson, 74, a Carson City resident for the past 40 years, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1-7 p.m. Thursday at FitzHenry's.
Mrs. Peterson died Dec. 2, 2000, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born Sept. 3, 1926, in Black Rock, Ark., to Willard O. and Maudie Gage Franks.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in California.
Mrs. Peterson was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, and she was a seamstress.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald on March 6, 1997.
Among her survivors are her sons Ed Ammerman of Sparks, Bruce Ammerman of Boise, Idaho and Guy Ammerman of Merced, Calif.; daughter Cindy Silva-Sugden of Wellington; brothers Darrell Stanley Horn and John David Horn, both of California and Willard Franks and Jerry Wayne Thompson, both of Michigan; sisters Audrey Dodder, Thelma Jernukian and Notre Screws, all of Michigan; two grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
Burial will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley.
FitzHenry's Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
