Obituary: Lucille Ellen Bodden

A funeral for Lucille Ellen Bodden, 77, a Carson City resident since 1981, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Gall Catholic Church in Carson City.

Ms. Bodden died Oct. 26, 2000, at her home. She was born Dec. 16, 1922, in Highland Park, Mich. to Alphonse and Rose Gauron.

Prior to living in Carson City she resided in Resida, Calif.

Ms. Bodden volunteered at Carson-Tahoe Hospital and the Ormsby Library.

She was a bookkeeper for Comstock Bank.

Among her survivors are her sons Gary and Tim of Carson City and Rob of Minden; daughters Barbara Friesen of Carson City and Julie Hamilton of Chatsworth, Calif.; brother Harvey Gauron of Miami, Fla.; sisters Mary Berger of Miami and Aino Gauron of La Mesa, Calif., eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Burial will be at Eastside Cemetery in Gardnerville.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley is in charge of arrangements.
