A memorial service for Norma Grace Walsh, 69, a Carson City resident for the past 18 years, will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at FitzHenry's Funeral Home.
Mrs. Walsh died Aug. 16, 2000, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. She was born Feb. 14, 1931, in Grand Junction, Colo., to Clarence and Martha Armour Mock.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Chico, Calif.
Mrs. Walsh was the owner of Virginia Junction Dolls and Toys. She loved doll making and painting.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Among her survivors are her husband James of Carson City; son Robert Nissen of Paradise, Calif.; daughter Susan Laird of Yuba City, Calif.; twin sister Naomi Maynard State of Paradise, Calif., and sister Katherine Wheeler of Lake Stevens, Wash.; grandchildren Shelley and Brian and great-grandson Nicolas.
Cremation will be at FitzHenry's Crematory.
Mrs. Walsh died of leukemia, and is it requested anyone wishing to honor her donate blood or platelets in her name.
