Percy Joseph Atkins, 85, a Dayton resident for the past week and former Concord., Calif., resident, died Dec. 14, 2000 at Dayton Parkview Home. He was born Oct. 13, 1915, in Oakland, Calif.
Mr. Atkins was a mechanic for the automotive industry.
He was preceded in death by his wife Allura in 1991.
Among his survivors are his sons Greg of Dayton, Ronald J. of Mississippi, Dennis W. of Pittsburg, Calif. and Douglas of Auburn, Calif.; daughter Kathleen Flores of Newport, Wash.; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Inurnment will be at Memory Gardens in Concord.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
