A funeral for Phoebe E. Howell, 86, a Carson City resident for the past 21 years, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.
Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Monday at Walton's.
Mrs. Howell died Sept. 20, 2000 at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. She was born July 12, 1914, in Eatonville, Wash., to William and Beatrice Else Rose.
Before moving to Carson City, she lived in Nevada City, Calif.
Mrs. Howell was a homemaker. She played the piano and sang in the Kitchen Band at the Carson City Senior Center. She also enjoyed playing the organ. She was a Methodist.
She was preceded in death by her brother Robert Rose and sister Mary Hendrickson.
Among her survivors are her husband John of Carson City; son Ron Clausen and wife Bernice of Castroville, Calif.; daughter and husband Cherie and Wayne Horton of Carson City and daughter Judy Foxglove of Reno; sisters Ella Fitch and Marnie Fitch, both of of Marysville, Wash.; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at Walton's Carson Gardens.
Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
