A memorial service for Raymond L. Urbani, 66, a Gardnerville resident for the past year, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Gall Catholic Church with Father Bill Nadeau celebrant.
Mr. Urbani died Dec. 1, 2000, at his home. He was born May 20, 1934, in Little Rock, Ark., to Carl J. and Mathilda Imboden Urbani.
Before moving to Gardnerville, he lived in Vallejo, Calif.
Mr. Urbani was a radiology technologist and was retired from Kaiser Permanente Hospital in Martinez, Calif. He was a member of St. Gall Catholic Church.
He retired from the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Among his survivors are his son Carl J. of Sparks; daughters Linda Williams and Barbara Battel, both of Reno, Denise Snell of Verdi and Christina Everhart of Vallejo; brothers Donald L., Joseph F. and A.J.; sister Carolyn Baldus and 11 grandchildren.
Cremation will be at Walton's Sierra Crematory.
