Obituary: William "Bill" Stock

A funeral for William "Bill" Stock, 53, a Carson City resident for the past 10 years, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Walton's Chapel of the Valley.

Visitation will be from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday at Walton's.

Mr. Stock died Dec. 11, 2000, at Carson-Tahoe Hospital. He was born Jan. 20, 1947, in Stockton, Calif., to Herman and Vonnie Tester Stock.

Before moving to Carson City, he lived at South Lake Tahoe.

Mr. Stock was an accountant. He was a past member of the Grace Baptist Church in Tracy, Calif., and a past member of the First Baptist Church at South Lake Tahoe. He was a Protestant.

He was preceded in death by his father in 1991 and mother May 24, 2000.

Among his survivors are his wife Carolyn and sons William M. and Brian A. and wife Keely, all of Carson City; stepson Steven Corsaro of Tracy, Calif.; brother George and wife Diana of Tracy and four grandchildren.

Burial will be at Lone Mountain Cemetery.

Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Crematory and Cemetery is in charge of arrangements.
