According to a spokesperson from the Nevada Division of Wildlife Mason Valley Fish Hatchery, here are some recent fish plants in this general area of Western Nevada:
- Davis Creek Park Pond in Washoe Valley: 500 rainbow trout, 10.5 inches.
Note: Davis Creek Park Pond has quite a few fish with more than 1,000 rainbows planted in its waters over the past several weeks.
- Sparks Marina in Sparks: 2,918 German browns, 9.5 inches.
- Lake Tahoe at Sand Harbor in Washoe County: 4,970 rainbows, 9.5 inches.
- Lake Tahoe at Cave Rock in Douglas County: 5,033 rainbows, 9.5 inches.
- Truckee River in Washoe County: 5,000 German browns, 9.5 inches
