A newly hired business and economic development specialist will provide small business owners in Carson city, Douglas County and outlying areas with counseling, training and resources.
Kathy Halbardier, former director of career services at the University of Nevada, Reno College of Business Administration, will offer free counseling and coordinate training opportunities for small businesses.
She works for the Nevada Small Business Development Center, a program of the UNR College of Business Administration.
