WASHINGTON, D.C. - In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Five-Y Clothing Inc., of Miami, Fla., is recalling about 42,000 fleece sweatshirts. These garments, which fail to meet the federal mandatory standards for fabric flammability, could ignite easily and present a serious risk of burn injuries.

No injuries have been reported. This recall is being conducted to prevent the possibility of injuries.

The recalled ladies' sweatshirts are made of a fleece fabric that closely resembles that of an inside-outside sweatshirt. They are long-sleeved, pullover-style, gray, and 90 percent cotton and 10 percent polyester. A label sewn into the neck of the sweatshirts reads, "Route 66 Original Clothing."

Kmart stores nationwide exclusively sold the ladies' sweatshirts.

Consumers should immediately stop wearing the sweatshirts and contact Five-Y Clothing at (888) 343-4838 between 6 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday through Friday to receive a refund.
