FALLON - The third season of the Nevada Maze - the state's first life-sized maze in a real cornfield on a real farm - will open today.
The Nevada Maze is a custom creation of international maze designer Adrian Fisher of London. Each of Fisher's mazes is unique in scheme; the Lattin Farms Maze is in the shape of the state of Nevada.
Set in the middle of 12 acres of 10-plus feet stalks of corn, the Nevada Maze makes for the ultimate human-sized puzzle. Last year thousands of visitors attempted to outwit more than a mile of passageways in record time.
The Nevada Maze features a Themed Quiz Trail which helps maze-trudgers through the twists and turns of the puzzle. And each group is given a flag to carry to wave for a hint or two on directions from bridge attendants.
Lattin Farms is located on the corner of Sheckler and McLean Roads in Fallon. For information call 867-3750 or visit lattinfarms.com.
