The ninth annual National Wild Horse and Burro Show and Adoption is slated for June 9, 10 and 11 in Reno at the Livestock Events Center, 1350 N. Wells.
A free gentling and training demonstration with trainer Bryan Neubert will be offered June 10 and 11 starting at 9 a.m. Those wild horses and burros will be available for adoption June 11.
The show begins each day at 9 a.m. It is sponsored by the National Wild Horse and Burro Show Association, while the adoption and demonstration are sponsored by the Bureau of Land Management.

The BLM's National Wild Horse and Burro Center at Palomino Valley is overseeing the adoption which will feature both wild horses and burros.

Spectators are welcome at all shows and the Saturday and Sunday demonstration. There is no admission charge.
