Benefit cancer shoot at archery range

The Clear Creek Bowmen, a local organization for bow and arrow enthusiasts, will hold its annual Cancer Shoot on July 9.


That benefit shoot will be held at the public archery range at Centennial Park, just off U.S. 50 on the east side of Carson City.


All proceeds will be donated to the Carson Advocates for Cancer Victims.


Registration will be held 7:30-8:45 a.m. on the morning of the shoot.


Competition shooting will start at 9 a.m.


There will be a total of 40 3-D targets.


Registration fees are $15 for individuals, $25 for couples, $30 for families, $10 for young adults (15-17) and $5 for Youths (12-14).
