Bently Nevada Corp., one of the leading worldwide suppliers of machinery protection and management solutions, recently conducted a series of training courses in Warsaw, Poland, as part of the company's global training efforts.

"We'll conduct more than 200 training classes in 20 countries this year," states Bently Nevada Western Region services manger Rett Jesse, "and we'll often present the material in the local language."

Jesse notes that 24 customers were in attendance in Warsaw at a recently presented Advanced Machinery Dynamics course conducted in English. The course was followed by a Russian-language version of Bently Nevada's Machinery Diagnostics course.

It was attended by nearly 20 of Bently Nevada's Russian-speaking customers and facilitated by Bently Rotor Dynamics Research Corp.'s Dr. Paul Goldman, with assistance from Dr. Alex Petchenev and Dr. Olga Malakhova, all fluent in Russian.

Donald Bently, owner and chief executive officer of Bently Nevada, is a frequent speaker at the company's training events and was in Poland to present many of the rotor dynamic topics - some of which he helped pioneer.
